Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has expanded its compliance team with the arrival of Lydia D’Amore as Director of Regulatory Compliance.

GLI provides land-based, lottery and igaming testing and assessment services, and the regulatory expert has been tasked with overseeing the workflow and processes for regulatory compliance and licensing for the group’s portfolio of companies.

D’Amore will interact with regulators, customers, and internal staff to aid GLI’s compliance and licensing requirements for the approximately 480 jurisdictions the company serves.

Additionally, she will be responsible for understanding all applicable licensing and regulatory compliance regulations and requirements, tracking changes as policies continue to evolve.

“We are grateful to welcome Lydia to our team,” said Kevin Mullally, GLI Senior Vice President of Government Relations and General Counsel. “Her extensive experience in complex regulatory compliance matters are a tremendous asset to our global compliance team.

“Lydia’s leadership and organisational skills have played an essential role in her lengthy record of success and will be a valuable addition to our leadership team.”

Most recently, D’Amore served as Chief Financial Officer for Long Beach Township in New Jersey.

D’Amore’s appointment as Director of Regulatory Compliance follows the recent promotion of Angela Wong to Vice President of Global Lottery Solutions.

Wong – whose service to the lottery industry was recognised last year when she was inducted into the PGRI Lottery Industry Hall of Fame – was previously Director of Lottery Solutions at the firm.
