The New Mexico Lottery has tapped into Scientific Games’ (SG) upgraded tech stack, driving growth and delivering innovation to more than 1,000 retail locations across the US state.

With the partnership in place, Scientific Games will power the lottery’s draw-based and Scratchers ecosystem, introducing more optimised management of lottery products for retailers.

SG also promises the delivery of precision analytics through the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership programme to increase sales for the lottery, which will then drive revenues and therefore subsidise the active New Mexico Lottery scholarship initiative for local students.

David Barden, Chief Executive Officer of the New Mexico Lottery, said: “The New Mexico Lottery officially live with new, modern technology systems that work together to enhance all aspects of our operations and ensure we are well-positioned for our next era of growth.

“We’ve strategically planned every step of this holistic modernization effort with Scientific Games to intelligently operate our retail network, making our Scratchers games easier for retailers to manage in their stores and easily accessible to our valued players.”

Other upgrades that the New Mexico Lottery and its partners will receive include Scientific Games’ proprietary SciTrak game distribution system, the INFUSE business intelligence platform, as well as SG’s brand new WAVE lottery terminals.

John Schulz, President of Americas & Global Instant Products for Scientific Games, commented: “Congratulations to the New Mexico Lottery for building upon our long-standing instant scratch game partnership, embracing innovation for the future.

“We are proud to serve as the Lottery’s full-line partner and help drive maximum proceeds for New Mexico college students.”

Scientific Games holds a serious market share in the US, boasting a long list of successful and ongoing collaborations with state lotteries such as that in Ohio, Arkansas, and Delaware.

Over the last few years the company has also been actively tackling opportunities abroad, currently serving 150 lotteries across 50 countries.
