Oregon Lottery renews long-running Scientific Games partnership

Scientific Games (SG) secured its latest deal in a series of high-profile US partnerships this week, signing a renewal with the Oregon Lottery.

The five-year contract extension will see the Atlanta-based ilottery solutions developer continue to provide popular games to the state lottery operator.

This includes its crossword game Firewolf and other titles such as Rose Gold Riches, 5x the Cash, and seasonal holiday-themed games. The company has been supplying these titles to the Oregon Lottery since first partnering with the state-owned corporation in 2010.

Tina Erickson, Lottery Products Portfolio Manager for the Oregon Lottery, remarked: “We’re happy to continue our positive Scratch-it relationship with Scientific Games. Our work with Scientific Games allows us to offer a wide variety of Scratch-it games to our retailers, keep our players entertained, and support vital programs in Oregon. We look forward to working together.”

The second half of 2023 has presented an active few months for SG, particularly in its founding market of the US where it has so far renewed contracts with the Pennsylvania Lottery, Kentucky Lottery, Delaware Lottery and now the Oregon Lottery.

Further afield, 2023 has seen the group bolster its presence in Europe, Latin America and Australasia via partnerships with Latvia’s Latvijas Loto, the state lottery of Minas Gerais in Brazil – alongside IGT and Saga BGI – and Lotto NZ.

John Schulz, President of Americas & Global Instant Products for Scientific Games, said: “We’re happy to help the Oregon Lottery maximise proceeds to its good cause programs with our high-performance instant products.

“We’re committed to bringing innovative instant scratch game experiences to players around the world, all based on analytics and insights that drive results.”
