Scientific Games (SG) has launched a new player loyalty app for the Delaware Lottery, the Delaware Lottery Players Club, marking its 24th app development for the lottery sector.

The loyalty programme allows players to earn points for tickets entered and for completing challenges and achievements. Points can also be redeemed for draw entries for a chance to win cash.

Additionally, the app can be used to find lottery retailers, check tickets, view winning numbers, create digital play slips, enter tickets to earn points and redeem points, and log in with a biometric system to keep data secure.

Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery, said: “We value our loyal players, and we want to offer them the best rewards program available through the convenience of a one-stop mobile app.

“The new Delaware Lottery Players Club offers the excitement of instant rewards to our players and quite a few conveniences all in one place. As part of our overall tech modernisation initiative, we’re strengthening our players’ connection to the Delaware Lottery and helping support proceeds for vital programs and services in our state.”

The app forms part of the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP) digital engagement service, as well as part of Atlanta-based SGs’s wider partnership with the Delaware Lottery.

SG is in the process of modernising the Delaware Lottery’s tech ecosystem to support instant, draw and keno games, sports betting, video lottery, player loyalty, retail point-of-sale and retail business intelligence.

As mentioned above, the SGEP forms a core part of SG’s agreement with the lottery. The firm’s renewal with the Delaware Lottery closely follows the appointment of Angela Goodwin as SGEP’s VP of Operations, as well as the signing of a deal with the Kentucky Lottery.

“We are excited to modernise the Delaware Lottery’s loyalty program and mobile app with a new and improved solution that enhances the player experience,” added Amy Bergette, Senior Vice President of Digital Solutions for Scientific Games.

“We are continually innovating digital solutions to ensure lottery players can easily and conveniently engage with the lottery, its games and so many ways to be entertained and win cash and prizes.”
