Jackpocket has outlined its ambition of exploring further growth opportunities after enjoying its ‘breakout’ year in 2022.

Publishing its data findings from the full year, the digital lottery app has reported overall winnings by its users totalled $128.7m, with the single biggest win a $7m Cash4Life prize in New York followed by a $3m Mega Millions prize (also in New York).

New York is one of 15 states where the Jackpocket app is operational, with the likes of Arizona and West Virginia two of the more recent additions to the roster.

“We’ve had an amazing year of growth with Jackpocket now in 15 states across the country,” said Peter Sullivan, Founder and CEO of Jackpocket. “As we continue to expand our national footprint, we aim to make participating in the lottery even more easy, accessible, and convenient.

“We congratulate the over one million Jackpocket users who won lottery prizes last year and look forward to celebrating even more wins in 2023.”

Breaking down the numbers further, there were 17 winners who won lottery prizes worth $1m or more. The most popular game was Powerball, followed by Mega Millions and Cash4Life.

Drilling down into its Q4 figures, the report also detailed that digital lottery courier orders increased in all states where the app was available since Q3.
