Jackpocket has launched its lottery app in its 12th US state, bringing its third-party digital lottery product to Montana

Lottery players in Montana can now place ticket orders for lottery games which include Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, Lucky for Life, Montana Cash and Big Sky Bonus via the Jackpocket app.

The app allows players in Montana to securely place orders for tickets and instantly receive lottery prizes up to $599 directly from the app. Prizes over $599 can be transferred for redemption via the Montana Lottery.

“Accessibility and convenience are of the utmost importance right now, which is why we’re looking forward to offering Montanans, both long-time lottery players and new players alike, a digital-forward way of streamlining their day,” said Jackpocket CEO and Founder Peter Sullivan

“Innovation and safety are at the forefront of everything we do at Jackpocket, and we’re committed to keeping those guiding principles at the forefront of online gaming.”

The firm has stated that the app’s entry will help to bring new customers to the state’s lottery by bringing a new demographic – Jackpocket noted that over 65% of its customers are 18-45 years old.

Other states where Jackpocket is operational with its third-party lottery app include Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Washington, D.C.

This comes after a ramp-up in marketing efforts from Jackpocket stemming from a Series D funding round last year worth $120m led by celebrities including Mark Cuban and Kevin Hart.

This led to the firm signing partnership deals with various sports teams from divisions including NHL, NBA, MLB, and NFL.
