Jackpocket, the third-party lottery ticket provider, has announced it has penned a deal to become the Official Digital Lottery Partner of the NFL outfit, the New York Jets.

Signing a multi-year agreement, Jackpocket will give its users and Jets fans access to free lottery tickets in its mobile app, game-day activations at MetLife stadium and prizes, and VIP game experiences.

The announcement coincides with the beginning of the 2021 NFL season, with the Jets suffering a 19-14 opening day defeat to the Carolina Panthers.

Jackpocket cited a YouGov survey, which concluded that 20% of the NFL team’s fans are playing lotteries and that digital lottery winners have soared by 387.1% in the last year.

As a result, the lottery provider stated they have made the deal at a ‘crucial moment’, despite the company only launching in New York in January this year.

Under the terms of the deal, the Jackpocket brand will be integrated into the Jets paid advertising, email, web, and social media.

“As the NFL’s first digital lottery sponsorship, Jackpocket is proud to partner with the Jets, a New York institution,” said Jackpocket CEO Peter Sullivan

“With 87% of Jets season ticket holders residing in New York or New Jersey, we are excited to introduce this dedicated fanbase to a new, easy way to play for big lottery jackpots right from their phone.”
