Scientific Games strengthens ties with popular TV game show

Scientific Games has renewed its contract with Banijay Entertainment for the licensing rights of Deal or No Deal-branded lottery games.

Retail and digital lottery products featuring the well-known TV game show brand will include instant scratch, pull tab, terminal-based games, Keno games for exclusive territories, as well as iLottery.

The games will be made by Scientific Games, which holds the Deal or No Deal licensing rights in more than 30 countries, and will work closely on their distribution with Banijay Rights – the distribution arm of Banijay Entertainment.

Popular for its prizes and quick decisions that participants have to make, Deal or No Deal is a gameshow that has been adapted across 84 countries. The TV production has been partnered with Scientific Games for over 18 years, delivering 110 lottery games launched worldwide to date.

Scientific Games has continued to enjoy global success in the lottery market, ending FY2024 with $2.6bn in retail sales of licensed products in the US alone. In total, it provides games and technology to 150 lotteries across 50 jurisdictions worldwide.

It was recently granted a lottery service supplier licence in the UAE through the country’s newly-established gambling regulator.

The company also just announced a new Digital Games Senior Vice President and a Vice President of Customer Success to further boost its global ambitions.
