Scientific Games has won a lottery gaming system technology agreement with the Ohio Lottery.

The contract will see the technology provider supply the Buckeye State’s lottery with its proprietary Momentum ecosystem, which boasts features such as the AEGIS central gaming system and the Infuse business intelligence tool.

Additionally, the Ohio Lottery will be supported by Scientific Games’ WAVE point-of-sale terminals, modernising the lottery operator’s retailer network and allowing it to engage with players through an expanded game content portfolio.

This collaboration builds on an existing partnership between both entities, with the lottery being a member of the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership (SGEP) program since 2019. So far, SGEP has provided the lottery with sales logistics and analytics.

Pat McHugh, Scientific Games CEO, said: “On behalf of all the Scientific Games teams who have been hard at work developing a responsible, sustainable growth plan for the Ohio Lottery with our newest, performance-driven technology, we are celebrating this award.

“We look forward to working  with the Ohio Lottery to bring new products and technology which will ultimately help support education funding in Ohio.”

Recently, Scientific Games has continued to expand across North America, with the firm also becoming the exclusive tech provider of the North Dakota Lottery.
