Scientific Games has been given a technology contract to provide the North Dakota Lottery with its omnichannel system solutions.

After a detailed tenure evaluation process, the North Dakota Lottery chose Scientific Games due to its portfolio of nearly 40 lottery systems implementations, awarding it with a six-year contract and a two-year extension clause.

The new integrated system will be built on the AEGIS central gaming offering – Scientific Games’ proprietary platform that offers retail terminals alongside a single digital integrated solution for iLottery and Loyalty.

Lance Gaebe, Director of the North Dakota Lottery, said: “Our goal was to modernize our technology so that our players can enjoy fluid experiences between retail and digital.

“We also wanted to work with the tech partner that gave us the best technical solution for the North Dakota Lottery to responsibly grow sales and contributions to our state programs in the coming years.”

The new contract marks the third time when Scientific Games has become the system vendor for the North Dakota Lottery, driving a 33% sales growth over the last 10 years, alongside an increase of 36% in iLottery sales in FY 2022/23.

John Schulz, President, Americas & Global Instant Products, added: “We’ve been there since the beginning with the North Dakota Lottery, and our technology has served the Lottery very well over the past two decades.

“Our teams have worked hard to build a strong partnership through service excellence, and they deeply understand the North Dakota Lottery’s unique business.”
