Allwyn has appointed Elena Chambers as Group Chief Transformation and Corporate Development Officer for the global lotteries group.
Chambers will lead the execution and development of large-scale transformation projects across Allwyn’s international portfolio, including Lotteries Austria, SAZKA (Czech Republic), OPAP (Greece), Lotto Italia, and The National Lottery (UK).
Chambers joined Allwyn’s executive team on 18 November to lead strategic planning, oversight, and organisational change across the group.
Chambers previously served as Director of Strategy and Transformation at Virgin Media O2, where she revamped channel strategies to improve commercial performance. She also served as Chief Operations Officer at 888 Holdings (formerly Evoke Plc), leading the operational integration of 888’s £2bn acquisition of William Hill in 2022.
Allwyn highlighted Chambers’ expertise in managing integrations, cost controls, and driving synergies across operating units. Robert Chvátal, Allwyn Group CEO, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Elena as Group Chief Transformation and Corporate Development Officer as we expand the Allwyn brand and business.
“Elena is a proven leader with a strong record in delivering business-wide change. Her expertise in optimising global businesses will be critical as we aim to make lotteries more engaging and maximise their positive impact on society.”
Elena Chambers said: “Allwyn is a dynamic company with a mission to transform lotteries and casual gaming. The business is deeply committed to enhancing its social impact and driving strategic growth based on strong core values.
“I am excited to work with the team to deliver even better lotteries and games and am delighted to join at this pivotal time.”
