Entertainment company Delaware North will power its full Betly mobile sportsbook and casino platform with tech from Playtech.
The new partnership will first make its debut in the state of Ohio, where Betly launched earlier this month. Betly’s sportsbook and online casino offering in Arkansas, Tennessee and West Virginia will be subsequently migrated to Playtech’s platform.
Playtech also replaces MVGBet in an affiliate licensing deal with Miami Valley Gaming – a joint venture property of Delaware North.
Lee Terfloth, Chief Interactive Gaming Officer for Delaware North, commented: “We are very pleased to partner with Playtech to provide Betly customers with an enhanced mobile sports betting and online casino experience powered by an industry leader.
“Not only that, but our team can now offer players robust promotional features through the Playtech platform, which will allow Betly to offer customers an array of enticing and personalised offerings, including bonus bets, boosts, drawings and tournaments.
“As a result, customers will experience tailored content to engage them based on their historical betting activity.”
By migrating to Playtech’s platform, Betly will also be able to deepen its commitment to promoting safer gambling practices by gaining access to the former’s safer play tools, such as the risk analytical solution BetBuddy.
Delaware North will also be able to integrate customised behavioural health assessments into Betly’s application thanks to a separate partnership with Birches Health – a national behavioural addiction program.
