The South Dakota Lottery has selected Scientific Games as its exclusive provider of instant scratch ticket games.
Signing a new, six-year contract, which may be renewed for up to four additional years, this latest agreement extends a partnership that has spanned more than three decades.
In recent years, Scientific Games has helped the South Dakota Lottery to achieve double-digit growth in its instant product category, through ‘responsible marketing’ and the launch of games like ‘Casino Nights’.
Norm Lingle, South Dakota Lottery Executive Director, commented: “We’ve created great momentum with our instant game performance through our long-term partnership with Scientific Games to benefit important programmes in our state.
“Our teams look forward to continued collaboration on the design and marketing of quality, secure, high-performance games that entertain South Dakota players.”
The contract also includes analytics and insights, popular brands from Scientific Games’ portfolio of licenced properties, in addition to related marketing services.

Meanwhile, Scientific Games has also recently agreed significant deals with the likes of the Texas Lottery, Latvijas Loto and the Colorado Lottery.
