OpenBet has moved to aggressively expand its platform services and dedicated systems for the global lottery sector following its acquisition of OmniLogic.
Announced this morning, OpenBet will acquire the software and IT solutions of OmniLogic, a proven supplier World Lottery Association (WLA) members of state-syndicated lotteries founded in Gyor, Hungary.
Regulated lottery markets are OpenBet’s primary focus post-acquisition. The firm expects to strengthen its position as a provider of betting and platform solutions to companies in the World Lottery Association (WLA).
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete later in 2026.
Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, Co-Founders of OmniLogic, said: “Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise and long-term partnership.
“Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses.
“For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today. For our team, it creates an exciting opportunity to become part of a global organisation with a strong commitment to the lottery sector.”
Following transaction approval, OmniLogic’s specialist team based in Győr, will join OpenBet’s wider organisation. The team will be tasked with developing sportsbook technology across retail and digital channels.
OpenBet embarked on a new path in March 2025 after it completed a management buyout from Endeavor, the holdings company behind it. Endeavor has now largely shed its gambling assets, with its key ones being MMA promotion UFC and wrestling organisation WWE.
In 2023, the WLA accredited Openbet as a “Gold Supplier”, proving its infrastructure and IT securities for the partners of Danske Spil, OPAP, WestLotto and Nederlandse Loterij (Netherlands).
“Lotteries remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements,” said Nikos Konstakis, OpenBet President.
“Bringing that expertise into OpenBet further strengthens our position in the global lottery market. We look forward to welcoming the OmniLogic team to OpenBet and building on the strong foundations they have created.”
