EveryMatrix has positioned itself for further growth in the North American gaming markets, specifically with a focus on the country’s huge lottery sector.

The firm has joined the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), the trade association for B2C and B2B lottery firms across the continent.

A grand total of 45 out of 50 US states have a government-run lottery, plus the District of Colombia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. EveryMatrix believes this offers ample opportunities for the company.

The company believes demand for its lottery solutions will come from US investment in digital technology and omnichannel player engagement, as well as responsible gaming.

It is certainly true that more and more US lotteries are exploring the possibility of digital lottery platforms, like the North Dakota lottery. Some legislative pushes for online lottery launches have been met with opposition or stalled in state legislatures, however.

Nikolina Gabelica, Head of Lottery, EveryMatrix, said: “For EveryMatrix, joining NASPL is about long-term commitment. We work closely with several leading European national lotteries and understand the balance between innovation, regulation, and public responsibility.

“Combined with our broader experience across regulated iGaming markets globally, we bring practical insights and advanced technology to the US lottery community, and we are looking forward to building and further developing meaningful relationships there.”

Regardless of online lottery legislative developments, EveryMatrix is keen to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves. Growth prospects in the Americas have been on the Malta-based company’s agenda in general lately.

NASPL membership comes after the firm became an associate member of CIBELAE, World Lottery Association (WLA) branch for 80 Hispanic speaking countries across Latin and Central America as well as Spain and Portugal, in August last year.

On top of this the firm is also a member of the European Lotteries (EL), with its European presence substantial. Key European partners include Finland’s Veikkaus, Norway’s Norsk Tipping, Greece’s OPAP, Denmark’s Danske Spil, Hungary’s Szerencsejáték Zrt, and the Maltese National Lottery.
