EveryMatrix, one of the biggest international technology firms targeting the Latin American lottery space, has hired a new lead for this task.
The Malta-based company confirmed Matias Montero as Managing Director of its Latin American business, where lottery companies are a key target.
Montero will be based in Buenos Aires, and report directly to Daniel Clark, EveryMatrix’s Group Commercial Director. His two decades experience in Latin American gaming were of particular interest to the firm.

EveryMatrix has a varied focus, working with operators across all disciplines of the global betting, gaming and lotteries industry via its divisions like SlotsMatrix and OddsMatrix, and the LotteryEngine.
In Latin America, lotteries have formed the basis of its ambitions so far with the company joining the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (CIBELAE) last year.
Latin America is home to various national and state lotteries, with Brazil in particular hosting a vibrant industry. Many of these state lotteries have also shown a willingness to get involved in sports betting, particularly in Brazil following the launch of the ‘Bets’ regulatory regime on 1 January 2025.
