The Polish National Lottery, Totalizator Sportowy, has partnered with Brightstar Lottery, as the lottery tech firm looks to close 2025 on a high.

The deal will see Brightstar deliver its entire instant content and innovations portfolio to Totalizator Sportowy, in the latest in a series of prominent B2B deals penned by the firm.

2025 has been a pretty big year for Brightstar, proving to be a significantly transformational one as it adopted a new identity and new corporate structure. The firm rebranded from its previous, long-held identity of IGT back in June.

IGT was for many years one of the biggest lottery tech firms in the world, while also providing game tech services. Its gaming division was divested earlier this year to Apollo Global Management, however, prompting the remaining lottery division to adopt the new name, Brightstar, while the standalone gaming business continues to operate as IGT.

The following months have seen Brightstar secure a number of prominent contacts, including renewing long-standing deals from its days as IGT. Notable clients include the lotteries of Missouri, Saxony, Texas, Italy, Western Australia, and now the Totalizator Sportowy.

“Brightstar’s longstanding partnership with Totalizator Sportowy and knowledge of the Polish market enables us to collaborate on world-class instant ticket games we believe will meet and exceed the expectations of its players,” said Marco Tasso, Brightstar Chief Operating Officer of Italian and International Lottery Operations.

“We look forward to continuing to provide premier experiences to lottery players throughout Poland with our wide-ranging instant ticket portfolio.”

The Totalizator Sportowy is also no stranger to working with Brightstar, having partnered with the firm during its days as IGT many years ago. A 2023 renewal saw the company initiate a huge upgrade of Totalizator Sportowy’s iLottery capabilities.
