Scientific Games (SG) has updated the Enhanced Partnership programme membership of the Arkansas Lottery.
The new eight-year contract builds up on the previous contractual relationship between both entities, spanning back to 2009 when the Arkansas Lottery first launched.
Since then, Scientific Games has supplied locals with over 800 instant games and access to top-of-the-line services. Thanks to the partnership, the Lottery’s instant games represented over $480m in retail sales for 2024.
Sharon Strong, Executive Director of the Arkansas Lottery, said: “Since day one, Scientific Games has been a trusted partner focused on driving maximum proceeds for Arkansas students.
“Working with Scientific Games through this new agreement, Arkansas Lottery will be able to provide more scholarships and offer even more engaging scratch game products and more innovative features to our thriving loyalty program.”
Through the programme, the Arkansas Lottery also receives optimised game design and portfolio management services, data analytics, SciTrak-powered logistics and predictive ordering system, licensed brand services, together with sales and marketing support for a network of more than 2,000 retailers across Arkansas.
The Lottery also offers a full digital loyalty programme, The Club, and was the first state lottery in the US to do so. Currently at 386,000 members, Scientific Games will bring that to the next level through brand new achievement-based features, including for the mobile app, as well as upgrade the Lottery’s retail and corporate account management module software.
Thanks to its diverse suite of technology offerings and innovations within the lottery space, Scientific Games currently has a major foothold in the US lottery market – recently strengthened by its World Lottery Association gold standard accreditation.
John Schulz, President Americas and Global Instant Products for Scientific Games, added: “We’re honored to be a trusted partner to the Arkansas Lottery since its beginning. With instant games representing more than 81% of the ASL’s total sales in fiscal year 2025, the instant game category is an extremely important product line for its proceeds to scholarships.
“Together, we’ll continue leveraging data-driven instant game innovation, portfolio management and supply chain efficiencies to drive player engagement, modernize retailer operations and ensure the Lottery’s future success for Arkansas college students.
“Since 2009, the Arkansas Lottery has provided more than $1.5bn in proceeds for Arkansas students with over 822,000 scholarships awarded.”
