Scientific Games (SG) will move into its third decade of supplying the Ohio Lottery with its proprietary Scratch-Off games.
The partnership will remain fully committed to improving education in Ohio, John Schulz, SG’s President Americas said, continuously investing Scratch-Off sales profits back into the community.
“We are very proud that our partnership with the Ohio Lottery is based on collaboration and a deep understanding of the Lottery’s business, and we look forward to another 10 years of success together,” Schulz added.
The deal is evidence of SG’s Scratch-Off games being popular in Ohio, with total sales growing from $1.6bn in 2019 over $2.4bn for the 2025 fiscal year.
Additionally, the offering also benefits from the data-driven Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership, which optimises Scratch-Off products with data and analytics, advanced logistics, licensed brand services, and sales and marketing support for more than 10,000 Ohio Lottery retailers.
Making the partnership even more solid, Ohio Lottery was one of the first lotteries to incorporate the Scientific Games SCiQ ecosystem, which supplied it with comprehensive in-store management of instant games.
This includes streamlined accounting and reporting, store-level sales analytics, improved inventory management and lockable automated game dispensing bins for added security. Also providing a simplified purchasing process through modernised player-facing digital menu boards, SCiQ is currently present in more than 800 Ohio Lottery retail locations.
Prior to the Ohio Lottery deal, Scientific Games has been on a conquest to significantly boost its profile across North America, with the most recent deal featuring a collaboration with Loto-Québec.
