Hrvatska Lutrija, the Croatian National Lottery, is taking its iGaming operations a step forward via partnerships with a number of different B2B companies.

Most significantly, the company has partnered with Greentube, a developer of slot games like Book of Ra, Sizzling Hot and Lucky Lady’s Charm, which it states have a strong following among Central and Eastern European (CEE) customers.

Expanding into iGaming serves Hrvatska Lutrija’s charity and social funding ambitions by providing it with new revenue streams. It may also better equip the company to deal with growing competition as Croatia, along with other CEE markets, become targets for big budget international gaming firms like Entain and Flutter Entertainment.

Ignacije Čutura, CEO at Hrvatska Lutrija, said: “Greentube’s slot portfolio is instantly recognisable and beloved by players across Croatia. We are thrilled to bring its titles to our platform and strengthen the quality of our online casino offering.

“This partnership is another step in delivering top-tier entertainment to our customers in a safe and responsible environment.”

The integration of Greentube content has been enabled by the Bragg aggregation platform via another deal with Intralot. This showcases the extent to which the Croatian lottery has been courting B2B expertise to further enhance its product, having previously worked with other major lottery suppliers like Scientific Games.

Additionally, the deal also demonstrates Greentube’s international reach, and particularly its focus on lotteries. The move comes shortly after it partnered with ZEAL Network, one of the largest lottery companies in Germany, in a similar deal offering iGaming content like the Book of Ra slot.

Andrei Petre, Sales and Key Account Manager at Greentube, said: “Partnering with Hrvatska Lutrija is an exciting move that will bring our classic content to a whole new audience in Croatia.

“As the national lottery, it has a well-established reputation and broad reach. We’;re proud to work with such a respected partner as we continue expanding our footprint in key regulated markets.”
