Pollard Banknote has taken a significant step in expanding its iLottery capabilities by partnering with Instant Win Gaming (IWG) to integrate the latter’s eInstant game portfolio.
The deal sees IWG’s remote game server incorporated into Pollard’s Catalyst Gaming Platform which powers its iLottery solutions. Pollard Banknote’s iLottery clients can now access a broader range of digital content to meet growing player demand.
Shannon DeHaven, Vice President of Digital Engagement at Pollard Banknote, commented: “We’re excited for this new partnership, which will allow even more lotteries to benefit from IWG’s highly successful game portfolio.
“IWG’s library of proven, lottery-focused eInstant games make an excellent complement to our own offerings from the Pollard Digital Games Studio. Further, due to InstantRGS’ architecture, new product innovations from IWG are easy to deploy – an additional benefit to our Catalyst clients.
“By working directly together, our teams completed the integration in just a few weeks – avoiding project delays and the complications that many lotteries are currently experiencing when an intermediary aggregation platform is involved. This reflects our shared commitment to modern, flexible technology platforms designed for ease of integration.”
Both companies highlighted the importance of shared technical expertise and close collaboration in ensuring a ‘smooth and speedy integration’ whilst sidestepping common delays.
Deep lottery expertise
In April 2025, Pollard Banknote was awarded a three-year contract to supply digital “Flax” eInstant games to Norway’s national lottery. The brand has created more than 40 eInstant titles for Norsk Tipping since 2017.
The company now partners with over 60 lotteries globally, supporting physical ticket printing and digital lotteries through innovations across print, retail and digital fronts.
In January 2024, the Pollard was also awarded a primary contract from the Michigan Lottery to provide instant game tickets. This marked the extension of a long-standing partnership between the pair.
Jason Lisiecki, Executive Vice President at Instant Win Gaming, added on the latest deal: “Through our many years of experience, we’ve found that direct-to-wallet integrations – just like the one enabled by Catalyst – consistently deliver the lowest operational latency, resulting in a much smoother and more responsive player experience.
“Catalyst’s cloud-native, modular, and API-first architecture, combined with the professionalism and technical expertise of the Pollard Banknote team, made the integration process seamless.”
