Pollard Bankote has been granted a licence for the digital supply of Flax tickets, a product from Norway’s national lottery.
Norsk Tipping will leverage Pollard’s services for a total of three years, including a one-year extension clause. Both entities have partnered in the past, specifically around the provision of e-Instant games for the lottery’s portfolio.
The collaboration between both companies goes all the way back to 2011, with Pollard Banknote being the exclusive physical Flax scratch ticket supplier since 2018.
So far, Pollard Banknote has supplied Norsk Tipping with more than 40 e-Instant Flax games, including KryssordFlax, BilFlax, and Flax for Året – all three top performing titles for the lottery.
Hedda Isaksen, Product Manager, Norsk Tipping, commented: “The Flax brand remains a favourite among our players, and Pollard Banknote has been a valuable partner in helping us deliver well-designed and entertaining games. This ongoing collaboration supports our mission of facilitating responsible gaming while maximizing returns to good causes.”
Shannon DeHaven, Vice President, Digital Engagement, Pollard Banknote, further emphasised the technology company’s commitment to deliver on the trust that the lottery has continuously put into it.
“We are proud to extend our partnership with Norsk Tipping to continue to deliver a portfolio of dynamic and engaging eInstant Flax games,” she said.
“Our expertise in game innovation and digital lottery solutions, combined with our deep knowledge of the Flax brand, will further enhance Norsk Tipping’s digital offerings.
“We are honoured that the Lottery consistently entrusts us with producing some of its most popular games, and we remain committed to delivering visually stunning, high-performing digital experiences that resonate with its players.”
Canada-headquartered Pollard Banknote recently saw a major expansion across North America, acquiring 100% of Pacific Gaming and LIF Capital Group.
