ZEAL appoints Luisa Haxel as Traumhausverlosung’s Managing Director

ZEAL progressing towards FY23 strategic objectives and financial targets

ZEAL Network ZE’s Traumhausverlosung subsidiary has appointed Luisa Haxel as a Managing Director of the German lottery organisation and Dreamify – its non-profit parent company.

Haxel will oversee the operations of Dreamify under her new role, bringing experience from real estate and start-up sectors with a previous tenure as Head of Digital Strategy at Engel & Völkers and having founded and led real estate platform Evernest.

Haxel stated: “Traumhausverlosung got off to an impressive start on the German market last year. I’m looking forward to developing the brand further together with the team and providing new impetus for the business model, which is unique in Germany to date.”

Dreamify and Traumhausverlosung operate raffle-style competitions where players can claim special prizes such as houses. Every three months, the company offers up a ‘Dream Home’ with players able to register to buy tickets in hope of being drawn.

Traumhausverlosung donates at least 20% of these ticket sales to charitable causes, with charity partners such as Hamburg-based water charity Viva con Agua benefiting from the competitions.

ZEAL announced its full-year financial results for 2024 earlier this week, citing a series of successful marketing measures as driving solid year-on-year growth across the year’s trading.

“In our anniversary year 2024, we achieved a record triple in our business development in terms of new customers, revenue and EBITDA,” commented Helmut Becker, the outgoing CEO of ZEAL.

“In addition to the biggest growth in our core business since the company was founded, we have established ourselves as a pioneer in the German market with the launch of our Traumhausverlosung.

“For the third year in a row, our subsidiary LOTTO24 AG has produced more record winners than any other provider in Germany. Our success is also good news for the good cause – with €382m in 2024, ZEAL has generated the highest sum in the company’s history for social and community projects.”
