EveryMatrix has announced that Nikolina Gabelica has become the group’s new Head of Lottery.
Gabelica has spent over 20 years working in several senior roles at the Croatian Lottery, Hrvatska Lutrija, and was also the Executive Chair, Working Group for Marketing & Communications at The European Lotteries.
Ebbe Groes, CEO of EveryMatrix, described the new hire as ‘hugely respected in the lottery world’, praising her vast experience in the retail and digital requirements lotteries have today.
“These businesses are having to continually adapt to new technologies and cater to a new generation of customers who are looking for instant entertainment across both classic lottery and online-mobile products,” Groes added.
After gaining a vast amount of experience within the industry, Gabelica joins EveryMatrix where she will lead commercial and product strategy for World Lottery Association (WLA) and European Lottery Association businesses globally.
“We work with some of the most progressive WLA-members today with a proven track record of delivering game-changing technologies that are taking these organisations to new heights,” added Groes.
“I’d like to wish Niki well as we strive to expand our reach even further in the lottery space.”
The new Head of Lottery is also set to build on the igaming platform’s work with organisations, such as the Hungarian Lottery (SZRT).
It was in November 2023 that SZRT officially went live with the OddsMatrix-powered sportsbook and platform services, enabling the country’s residents to safely utilise ‘21st century digital betting experiences’.
Gabelica expressed how she has received a ‘warm welcome extended by the fantastic team’.
“My 20+ years of lottery and gaming experience fits perfectly with EveryMatrix, offering a diverse perspective that I will use to focus on strategies for both existing and new WLA member organisations and lottery clients,” she continued.
“EveryMatrix’s modular, API-driven solutions are ideal for global lotteries looking to launch or expand their digital presence and I’m looking forward to meeting customers at ICE 2024.”
