The Pennsylvania Lottery has added another title to its portfolio of gaming products with The Game of Life, an omni-channel product based on the popular board game.

Scientific Games will develop instant scratch games and ‘fast play’ terminal-generated retail games for the state lottery, building on previous collaborations between the Atlanta-based supplier and the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The titles consist of a Game of Life-themed $10 instant scratch game and $5 Fast Play game, which were first distributed to retailers in May and June.

Drew Svitko, Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Lottery, said: “We are delighted to launch The Game of Life omni-channel lottery games for our players.

“We knew the brand’s adventurous theme and immediate recognition would be a hit both at retail and online. Launching games with multiple ways to play creates more awareness for all the different kinds of entertainment we offer while driving proceeds to benefit older Pennsylvanians.”

So far, The Game of Life scratchcard has generated $15.2m in its first month as part of the Pennsylvania Lottery portfolio, whilst Fast Play was one of the top two performing $5 games of its type in the operator’s stable.

The Game of Life is currently in the top 10 of the 150 most played Pennsylvania einstant games for wagers and in the top five for new players.

Scientific Games is a partner of several state and national lottery operators, recently signing contracts with Lotto NZ (New Zealand) and Latvijas Loto (Latvia).

John Schulz, President of Americas and Global Instant Products for Scientific Games, added: “The Pennsylvania Lottery always strives to offer a variety of games with different playstyles, ways to win and top prizes that appeal to all Pennsylvanians.

“The Game of Life omni-channel games continue that effort. We’re excited that they’ve been so successful and look forward to continuing our game innovation together.”
