Scientific Games has teamed up with Germany lottery operator WestLotto for the introduction of camera based technology across the lottery’s retail sites in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The technology will be implemented into the Contour.v terminals, which WestLotto will use to offer players a contactless experience across more than 3,000 retail outlets from April, 2025.

Contour.v are camera-based optical terminals that feature ticket scan technology and HD screens – a package designed by Scientific Games to satisfy an increasing market demand for integrated lottery retail and digital solutions.
WestLotto was first established in 1955 and is a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA). It has been a partner of Scientific Games for over 25 years, using the company’s instant games, retailer management system, retail point-of-sale technology, iLottery and sports betting solutions.
Scientific Games itself acts as a supplier for all 16 lotteries across Germany.
