SOJOGO, the global arm of the Portuguese National Lottery Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and operator of Mozambique’s lottery, has launched a new betting and gaming website.
The platform, Placard.co.mz, will be supported by BtoBet’s Neuron 3 sportsbook and turnkey solution, including its trading and risk management solutions. The omnichannel partnership will also cover retail operations.

The partnership between BtoBet and SOJOGO was first announced last August, with initial details revealing that the B2B sportsbook supplier would provide omnichannel proprietary betting technology.
BtoBet has set out objectives of supporting an enhanced performance and risk optimisation for both SOJOGO’s business and its players.
The initial agreement was reached shortly after BtoBet was incorporated into NeoGames brand portfolio, after the latter acquired the B2B firm’s parent company Aspire Global last summer.

NASDAQ-listed NeoGames – which has been a long standing partner of Portugal’s National Lottery – took a step towards being acquired itself by Aristocrat Leisure this week, in an agreement which would see its full range of brands, including BtoBet, join the ASX firm.
