Latvijas Loto, the National Lottery of Latvia, has joined forces with Fennica Gaming on a new eInstants collaboration that marks a first for the Baltic state.
Under the terms of the deal, Fennica Gaming – a subsidiary of the Finnish National Lottery operator Veikkaus – will provide its range of eInstants to Latvijas Loto which, in turn, makes them available for its players in Latvia.
In fact, Latvijas Loto is the first company to offer Fennica Gaming eInstants with all the highly modern platform services called Games as a Service (GaaS).
Edgars Lediņš, Chairman of the Board of Latvijas Loto, commented: “The cooperation agreement with the leading Finnish developer of interactive lotteries Fennica Gaming provides ample opportunities to supplement the product range of Latvijas Loto with new and unique top-level eInstants.
“eInstants are an innovative direction of the lottery, like the instant lotteries – where each draw is a lottery ticket, providing you the opportunity to enjoy yourself, try your luck, and possibly win. In addition, personal interaction and the gaming elements make the entertainment even more exciting.”
This new category of eInstants, titled Loto Parks, was launched in January, with Latvijas Loto paying tribute to the ‘excellent game experience and outstanding visual and audial quality’ already provided by its partner.
Kristians Purvins, Product Development at Latvijas Loto, said: “The integration project, together with the thorough instructions, was described as ‘easy and well organised’ by our dedicated experts, assisted by Fennica. As the games and the new category went live, they immediately gained major interest from Latvijas Loto online clients.
“We are really pleased about the successful launch of the new games for our players.”
Furthermore, there are already plans in place to build on this initial launch, with ‘many new games’ expected ‘in the coming months’.
