The Tennessee Education Lottery has bolstered its portfolio of games with the release of its new daily jackpot game, ‘Daily Tennessee Jackpot’.
The game is state-specific to Tennessee and gives players a daily opportunity to win a jackpot; the overall odds to win a jackpot stands at one in 501,942, while the overall odds to win a prize is one in 8.3.
Players must select five numbers between 1 to 38 in order to play Daily Tennessee Jackpot.
Tickets are priced at $1 per play while, for an extra $1, players can add ‘quick cash’ for the chance to win up to $500 instantly; the overall odds to win a quick cash prize is one in 5.2.
Jackpots start at $30,000 and will increase until won.
“The lottery keeps its games creative, fresh and exciting, which helps us accomplish our mission of raising valuable dollars for education programmes in the state,” said Rebecca Paul, Tennessee Education Lottery President and CEO.
“We’re proud to have raised more than $6.6bn for these programmes, and new games like Daily Tennessee Jackpot will appeal to those players who enjoy jackpot games.”
Earlier this year, the Tennessee Education Lottery revealed it contributed $485.6m for all lottery-funded education programmes in the 2022 fiscal year, a total bettered only by last year’s record annual transfer of $499.9m.
