Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has this week announced that it has promoted Angela Wong to be its Vice President of Global Lottery Solutions.

Wong’s previous position at GLI was as Director of Lottery Solutions, where she worked with lottery suppliers and technology vendors to provide ‘insights into the future and guidance on their journey through GLI’s integrated compliance.’

Prior to joining in 2021, Wong was Director of the Montana Lottery and has previously served as President of the North American States and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), where she held multiple leadership positions over the course of a decade.

Wong’s service to the lottery industry was recognised last year when she was inducted into the PGRI Lottery Industry Hall of Fame, following votes by 94 members of the Hall and three industry leaders.

Commenting on Wong’s recent ascension in the company, Senior Vice President of Government Relations and General Counsel, Kevin Mullally, noted: “The landscape for lotteries is changing rapidly, and we are confident in Angela’s ability to coordinate the highly specialised professionals from our global teams with our lottery clients to help them navigate the future of the industry.”

Meanwhile, the firm has recently announced its expansion plans in different continents.

In August, GLI Africa expanded its services to sports betting clients in Africa, and in June, GLI expanded its APAC team in Australia with the addition of Barrie Wilson as Manager of Client Services.
