EQL Games has put pen to paper on a distribution deal that will provide digital content to the Michigan Lottery through its ilottery platform.

This move marks the first lottery industry agreement between the digital content provider and third-party game developer Present Creative following recent news of their new partnership, one which sees the duo offer ‘next-generation ilottery content’ to the US and international lottery operators.

Initially, games will be developed by Present Creative, with the potential for EQL Games to offer additional future content.

The Michigan Lottery, meanwhile, will offer Present Creative’s eInstant products to players in the state as the lottery benefits from the remote game server technology integrated by EQL Games.

This integration enables EQL Games and its content partners to develop and implement ‘new and innovative’ game content for the longest running digital lottery in North America.

“We are thrilled to be working with the Michigan Lottery, especially in the digital space where so much is possible,” said EQL Games CEO Brad Cummings.

“With this agreement, we look forward to providing exciting new content for the Michigan Lottery for years to come and helping them maintain their market leader status.

“We are big believers in the Present Creative team and game portfolio, and we are excited to see how these innovative games can increase the lottery’s returns in a highly competitive gaming marketplace.”

EQL Games rebranded last year from its original name of EquiLotteryGames in order to better reflect its expansion.
