The Lottery Corporation has confirmed the make-up of its new-look PR team – including Matt Hart as General Manager – following its Tabcorp demerger earlier this year.

The demerger occurred on May 23 after the firm gained regulatory approval from the Supreme Court of New South Wales, a move that saw Tabcorp shed its lottery and keno business to become two ASX-listed entities.

Subsequently, Tabcorp and The Lottery Corporation began assembling new teams in order to lead their respective companies in a new direction.

Towards the end of May, Tabcorp unveiled Adam Rytenskild as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Meanwhile, a few days later, The Lottery Corporation confirmed Megan Quinn as a new non-executive Director of the company.

This week, a number of new appointments have been made.

In addition to confirmation of Hart’s role as General Manager (of) Public Relations, Hans de Koning (Head of ESG), Elizabeth Bolton (Head of Content and Social), James Eddy (Senior PR Executive), Anna Hobdell (PR Executive) and Francesca Figliano (PR coordinator) have all joined the firm.

Hart and his team will manage major lottery and Keno winners, generating media coverage about lottery games and major prize winners, delivering community and ESG initiatives, and generating content for owned channels.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Tzaferis has moved from Tabcorp to be The Lottery Corporation’s General Manager (of) Corporate Affairs, leading the team looking after government relations, corporate media relations and communications, and internal communications.

Other senior personnel who moved from Tabcorp to The Lottery Corporation’s Corporate Affairs team are Emma Murphy (Head of Government Relations), Rick Wallace (Senior Manager Corporate Affairs), Carley Jellet (Employee Communications Manager) and Megan Miller (Corporate Communications and Content Manager).
