Loto-Québec has boosted its online casino presence after collaborating with Fantasma Games to launch the slot developer’s content in the Canadian province.

Aided by its partnership with Light & Wonder, the deal sees an array of Fantasma titles, including ‘Bounty Showdown’, go live with Loto-Québec’s online casino offering as the OpenGaming content aggregation platform enables studios to penetrate new markets..

Additionally, the OpenGaming platform will provide further opportunities for Fantasma to build its presence in Canada, with Light & Wonder possessing a significant network of operator and lottery clients across the region.

Steve Mayes, Director of Partnerships at Light & Wonder, said: “Fantasma Games is highly regarded amongst our OpenGaming operating partners, which recognise the studio’s ability to develop fun and immersive games.

“As the leading content aggregation platform provider to the global igaming industry, we understand the important role we can play in providing a route to new markets for developers such as Fantasma Games.

“We are proud to have supported the company’s entry into Canada and believe its games portfolio will resonate with a wide audience.”

The Stockholm-based game studio and its full portfolio of slots have been integrated within the OpenGaming ecosystem since 2021 after the two companies agreed a global content distribution agreement.

“We are incredibly excited to see our games go live with Loto-Québec and to be able to enter the Canadian market through Light & Wonder,” added Fredrik Johansson, Founder at Fantasma Games.

“Expanding into new markets is hugely important for our overall strategy and OpenGaming’s global reach is exactly why we partnered with Light & Wonder in the first place.

“This is our first release of many to come and we believe that our uniqueness and innovative games will be interesting for the players and operators in Canada.

“The Light & Wonder team are great to work with and we truly appreciate their support in allowing us to enter Canada.”
