Kings Entertainment has lauded a “significant” surge in its active customers during March, enjoying a 15% increase from the previous month.

Last month, despite the “dampening effect” of historically low jackpots, Kings welcomed 5,200 players while new depositors also continued to flock to its flagships brands, LottoKings and WinTrillions, rising by 72% since February.

“We’re very pleased that we were able to continue to increase our base of active customers so significantly in March,” commented Steve Budin, CEO of Kings Entertainment. “Building, growing and retaining this base of active players is the key to the health of any gambling operation.”

The online lottery and casino provider was similarly positive in the appraisal of its February operations last month, where it highlighted a 30% rise in revenue for LottoKings.

“That we’ve been able to continue to acquire and retain customers without the incentive of large jackpots is a testament to the strength of our brands,” added Budin.

“We remain focused on organic growth and CRM strategies to build our base, and also plan to strategically deploy paid marketing programmes when jackpot sizes warrant the investment in promotional campaigns.”

Earlier this year, Kings outlined its intention to ‘focus on revenue growth in the profitable online casino vertical, while continuing to grow its core online lottery operations.’
