The Kentucky Lottery has been named as one of the best places to work in the state for the second successive year.
The award is given based on a company’s employee policies and procedures, in addition to the results of an internal employee survey.
Ranked within the medium-sized company category for organisations with 150 to 499 employees, the lottery’s final ranking will be determined at an event this summer.
Mary Harville, President and CEO of Kentucky Lottery, commented: “To be named a best place to work again is a remarkable measure of our workplace.
“We’ve navigated the most challenging times in the history of our organisation in the last two years, and then to be named to this list for those two years is a major achievement.”
Presented by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company, the programme seeks to motivate companies in Kentucky to place an emphasis on its workplace environment, and to strive for excellence.
The Kentucky Lottery was named the top ‘Best Place to Work’ in the state last year and recently published its financial report for the first half of Fiscal Year 2022, reporting a sales increase of almost 18%.
