Carrus Gaming has signed a partnership with the Finnish gaming and lottery monopoly Veikkaus to supply it with next-generation camera-based terminals including middleware, a lottery terminal management system and associated maintenance services.

Supplying the Finnish lottery with 4500 of its Elite Terminals, Carrus offers innovative imaging technology offering ‘high efficiency, reliability and user-friendliness for retailers’.

The middleware of the terminals as well as the lottery terminal management system has been established and developed with FDJ Gaming Solutions, the subsidiary of La Française des Jeux.

Carrus Gaming has already deployed over 330,000 terminals worldwide in its 25 years of operations. Its Elite terminals offer speed and ease for processing documents for retailers as well as offering the opportunity to design new payslips for special events or promotions.

The lottery provider also has a foothold in the European market; in July it was selected to supply Lotto Bayern with over 4,000 units of lottery technology to streamline the lottery retail process. The process to implement those terminals is expected to be completed in the second half of 2022.

To date, more than 75,000 units of the Elite Series terminals have been sold worldwide, ensuring Carrus positions itself strongly in the technology supply sector.
