France’s National Lottery operator, La Française des Jeux (FDJ) Group, has appointed Nadia Faure as its new Director of Investor Relations and M&A.

In her new role, Faure will oversee the investor relations and financial communication led by Marc Willaume, as well as the implementation of the group’s mergers and acquisitions policy.

A former student of the École Polytechnique and the Corps des Mines, Faure began her career in 2009 as head of the industrial risk prevention department at the Regional Directorate for the Environment, Development and Housing (DREAL) in Picardy.

She joined the Agence des participations de l’Etat (APE) in 2012 as a participation officer before joining the M&A team of the French branch of Mediobanca in 2015. She has been Chief of Staff to President and CEO Stéphane Pallez since 2018.

Last month, FDJ appointed Andy Wright as its new Sporting Group CEO, replacing Simon Trim who held the position for the last five years of a 23-year tenure with the firm.

Back in April, the group also published its financial results for the first quarter of 2021, recording an increase in revenues and wagers when compared to the last two years.
