Novomatic Interactive division Greentube has won a highly competitive tender to supply Loterie Nationale Luxembourg, the state-owned National Lottery in Luxembourg, with its omnichannel solution, Greentube Plurius.

The contract will enable the lottery to combine its land-based, online and mobile VLT gaming operations and strengthen its existing offering, with full integration expected to be completed later this year.

The contract is valid for seven years with the option to extend for a further five years thereafter.

Léon Losch, CEO of Loterie Nationale Luxembourg, said: “We are pleased to select Greentube Plurius as a solution that not only meets all of our immediate requirements and future-proofs responsible gambling methods for all players online and land-based, but also provides a long-term partnership to support our evolving needs.

“Greentube has a strong reputation as a reliable and experienced technology provider with a proven track record to deliver results and we are excited to join forces.”

According to Greentube, Plurius allows B2B suppliers, casino and VLT operators to connect their land-based terminals to the solution’s core system and retrieve games that are then played on an online game server.

Operators can also launch games online and in land-based venues at the same time, while customers are able to play with one single account across all verticals. Other features include safe and quick deposits, cross-channel promotions and player tracking and protection through responsible gaming features.

Greentube added that its solution can be easily adapted to individual markets, jurisdictions and customer needs, and offers operators access to real-time monitoring and accounting tools including financial data, game statistics and product usage.

The firm already provides its solutions and products to several national lottery operators across Europe, including in Austria, Greece and Norway, as well as the British Columbia Lottery Corporation in Canada.

Georg Gubo, COO of Greentube, commented: “After an extensive tender process we are delighted to be awarded this important contract from Loterie Nationale Luxembourg. The contract validates the competitiveness of our offering and demonstrates that we are a trusted supplier to the industry.

“Our Greentube Plurius technology is at the forefront of gaming innovation and we are excited about the opportunity to streamline and strengthen Loterie Nationale Luxembourg’s offering.”
