Scientific Games Corporation will continue to power retail and online sales for the North Dakota Lottery through a two-year extension of its systems technology contract scheduled to run until June 2024.

The firm’s advanced technologies will also continue supporting the Peace Garden State lottery’s Players Club, featuring Pick & Click online subscriptions and rewards-based Points-for-Prizes programs.

Pat McHugh, EVP and Lottery Group Chief Executive for Scientific Games, said: “It has been a pleasure for our teams to work with the North Dakota Lottery since it launched in 2004 to support the lottery’s games and retailer network.

“We thank the North Dakota Lottery and its board members for their longstanding trust in our company, and we look forward to continued responsible growth to benefit good causes in the state.”

The North Dakota Lottery offers five multi-state games including Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, Lotto America and 2by2 across its network of 450 lottery retailers in the Midwestern state of 800,000 residents. In the past two years, the lottery’s retail sales have grown 13% per year.

McHugh continued: “Scientific Games’ innovation teams are advancing lottery gaming systems, retail, online and mobile technologies to modernize our industry worldwide with a focus on integrating the retail and digital experience for consumers.”

He added that the company’s extensive research on rapidly evolving consumer and retail trends is leading its technology innovation teams, positioning its technology customers to generate maximum profits for vital state beneficiary programs and ensure future sustainability.

Last week, Scientific Games appointed Jim Bombassei as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations for both Scientific Games and its subsidiary, SciPlay Corporation. The company also promoted Simon Johnson to Senior Vice President and Managing Director EMEA.
