Tennessee Lottery strengthens Nashville Predators partnership

The Tennessee Lottery has strengthened its partnership with NHL’s Nashville Predators in which the organisation will gain increased awareness of its Powerball Power Play feature.

It has been announced that anytime the Nashville Predators are about to head on the man advantage at home, the team’s Public Address Announcer, Paul McCann, will let the fans know that the side is going into the “Powerball Power Play”.

Lottery President and CEO, Rebecca Paul Hargrove, stated: “The partnership between the Predators and the Lottery is a significant opportunity to share and amplify messaging to our respective bases. When we roll out other Powerball promotions, the excitement built in part by our branded game action supports and heightens player awareness of new ways to win.

“That awareness plays out on a promotion such as the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year, which is running now through Oct. 26. Players can enter any Powerball ticket at tnviprewards.com, and a lucky player could become the first Powerball millionaire of the year.”

According to the NHL team, the announcement is considered a ‘win-win’ for both brands whilst Tennessee Lottery customers will gain additional benefits as a result of its growing relationship.

Hargrove continued: “The Tennessee Education Lottery has raised more than $5.5 billion for education in Tennessee, and raising awareness and generating excitement about our games and specific play features are critical to that effort.

“Our partnership with the Nashville Predators specifically has allowed us to increase awareness of Powerball’s Power Play feature.”

The Tennessee Lottery first partnered with the Nashville Predators in 2006 and since then the entities have collaborated with each other in a range of promotions to boost both brands’ appeal.
