Scientific Games celebrates Oklahoma Lottery $1 billion milestone

Scientific Games has congratulated Oklahoma Lottery on surpassing $1 billion in contributions to the Oklahoma Education Lottery Trust Fund, with the SVP Instant Products for Scientific Games, John Schulz, praising the organisation’s ‘vision and commitment to maximising profits to benefit education’.

Oklahoma Lottery’s milestone also coincides with its 15th anniversary with the state being one of the youngest lotteries in the US. Moreover, Scientific Games is also celebrating 15 years with Oklahoma Lottery due to the fact that the company has partnered with the organisation since its inception in 2005.

Schulz commented: “On behalf of Scientific Games, we congratulate the Oklahoma Lottery on topping $1 billion in proceeds to education at its 15th Anniversary.

“We commend the Lottery for its vision and commitment to maximising profits to benefit education. It has been an honour to support its leadership and the State of Oklahoma on this journey to success.”

Through Scientific Games’ Enhanced Partnership program, the firm currently provides Oklahoma Scratchers games whilst also collaborating with the Oklahoma Lottery on a variety of components that make an instant lottery program, this includes analytics and insights, advanced logistics, plus retailer optimisation.

In addition, Scientific Games also supplies Oklahoma Lottery’s central gaming system and services across a network of 1,900 retailers in the state.

“When voters approved the Oklahoma Lottery in 2004, they did so with the promise of increased funding for education. Today we celebrate an accomplishment that has helped countless Oklahoma teachers and students,” added Jay Finks, Deputy Director of Oklahoma Lottery.

“The Oklahoma Lottery recognises Scientific Games’ partnership and commitment to helping our organisation succeed. Their contribution to our business has been a major factor in our recent success and why we can celebrate hitting the $1 billion mark.”

It has also been recently announced that Finks will become Oklahoma Lottery’s Executive Director on November 1.
