Dimitriadis appointed INTRALOT
CEO as Kokkalis steps down

Following a board decision that will see current incumbent Sokratis Kokkalis step down from the role, lottery technology supplier INTRALOT has officially announced the appointment of Christos Dimitriadis as the group’s new CEO.

Despite stepping down as current CEO, Kokkalis is set to remain as Executive Chairman, with Dimitriadis, who has accrued board experience during his time with global non-profit ISACA, also being elected to replace Dimitrios Klonis as the executive member of the Board of Directors, a role which he will undertake alongside his new CEO responsibilities.

Discussing his appointment, Dimitriadis commented: “I would like to thank the Founder of INTRALOT and Chairman of the BoD Mr S Kokkalis for the opportunity that he offers me to contribute from the position of the Group CEO. This is an honor and great responsibility.

“INTRALOT is a company with a great history and a promising future. We export technology, products, and services globally. We are proud of our subsidiaries that serve our customers and compose the multinational nature of our company.”

Having originally joined the firm in 2007, Dimitriadis has since aided in the building of the company’s Enterprise Risk Management, innovation, cybersecurity, privacy, technology transformation and intellectual property protection frameworks.

Moreover, in his time with INTRALOT the new CEO has also helped shape the company’s technology strategy while at the same time managing the delivery of solutions and services to 47 worldwide jurisdictions.

Kokkalis concluded: “Following a transition period of reorganization during the last year, the company will evolve with emphasis in the digital technology, with Mr Dimitriadis as its new Group CEO.

“Mr Dimitriadis has a long experience with our company for the past 12 years and possesses in depth knowledge of the technologies in our industry. I wish him every success in his new role.”
