Bally’s Intralot is pressing ahead with its strategy of targeting North American lottery jurisdictions following last year’s merger.
The Greek-American company has secured a deal between its Intralot Canada division and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
The Crown Corporation will utilise Intralot Canada’s Shared Services integrated model to upgrade its group-wide lottery technology and operations.
Additional terms include end-to-end operational and technical support and a delivery roadmap for technology enhancements and integrations.
Pat Davis, President and CEO of BCLC, said, “This collaborative Shared Services model represents a significant advancement in BCLC’s digital transformation journey.
“BCLC looks forward to continuing its partnership with Bally’s Intralot in service of a more efficient, streamlined, and resilient operating framework that delivers an elevated experience for our players across both our retail and digital channels.”
Bally’s Intralot came into being in October 2025 following the completion of the merger between Bally’s Interactive, the International B2B arm of US conglomerate Bally’s Corporation, and Greek lottery and gaming tech firm Intralot.
The merger saw Bally secure a controlling stake in the resulting company while Intralot acquired Bally’s Interactive. Robeson Reeves, Bally’s Chief Executive Officer, took on the same leadership role at the combined entity.
In the immediate aftermath of the deal it became clear that North American lotteries would be a key focal area for the new company, having taken note of the $1.4bn in revenue expected from US state lottery contracts through to 2029.
Commenting on the BCLC deal, Reeves remarked: “This contract builds on the long-standing successful partnership between BCLC and Bally’s Intralot, and enhances our presence in the Canadian market.
“We are committed to delivering our best-in-class, fully integrated Shared Services model in support of the responsible growth of the Lottery and the good causes it serves across the Province. This is an exciting new chapter for both organizations, and we look forward to the journey ahead.”
