Jenny Blogg, former Operations Director at National Lottery operator Allwyn UK, has joined Rank Group as Chief Commercial Officer.

With the appointment effective from 16 March, Blogg will work alongside Andrew Peat, Managing Director of Rank’s UK digital business, and Liam Wallwork, Chief Product Officer at Rank.

Her responsibilities will include driving cross-channel customer experience across Rank’s flagship brands, Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino, joining the Executive Committee in the process and reporting directly to interim CEO, Richard Harris.

On Blogg’s appointment, Harris said: “Jenny is an outstanding leader and brings significant corporate experience in delivering successful results in high profile organisations. She joins us at an exciting time as we focus on delivering operating profit for the Group of at least £100m in the medium term.

“With her commercial expertise, I am confident she will be a great addition to our strong executive team and I look forward to welcoming her to Rank next month.”

Blogg will leverage her 25-year experience of commercial leadership not only in gambling, but also varied across the retail and food sectors.

She’s held roles at international firms like Mondelez, Cadbury, Danone Group, United Biscuits and Dixon Stores Group. In her latest role at Allwyn UK, she was responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple teams, including the retail, contact centre, draw operations, winner services and customer experience arms.

Over the last two years with the operator, Blogg was an instrumental part of Allwyn UK’s modernisation strategy for the National Lottery, which included the rollout of brand new retail lottery terminals and a revamp of the online services.

Allwyn UK took over the operating license from Camelot in 2023, entering a 10-year lease with major plans for rejuvenating the lottery, such as doubling the proceeds to good causes from £30m to £60m a week.

Interestingly, shortly after the operator outright acquired Camelot, where Blogg has also worked as the Commercial and Retail Director.

Commenting on her new venture with Rank, the company’s new CCO said: “The opportunity to join Rank at this stage of the growth story has been irresistible.

“With strong brands and clear levers to drive growth across the Group, I am confident that my track record of delivering results will fit extremely well with the ambitions that Richard has outlined.”
