Brightstar has inked a new partnership for the supply of its patented Cash Pop draw-based game to players in Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Lottery will become the 17th to launch Cash Pop in the US, offering players four daily drawings with several price points at $1, $2, $5, $10, and $20.
Customers can personalise their own Cash Pop experience thanks to the game elements that call for strategic wagering, which Brightstar said has so far proven to be a successful factor for optimising player engagement.
Drew Svitko, Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director, commented: “Brightstar’s Cash Pop game will enhance the Pennsylvania Lottery’s draw-game portfolio and engage new players with its easy-to-play game mechanics.
“We believe the game’s personalized gameplay experiences will resonate with our players and enable us to generate more funds for programs that benefit older Pennsylvanians.”
The deal was also commemorated by Scott Gunn, COO of Brightstar’s North America operations, who added: “Building on our strong momentum to expand the reach of our exciting, proprietary game, we are thrilled that Brightstar’s Cash Pop game is now live with the innovative Pennsylvania Lottery.
“The Cash Pop game has proven successful throughout the U.S., and now the Pennsylvania Lottery can generate more funds for programs that benefit older residents with simple and flexible gameplay features that players enjoy.”
Brightstar is currently the primary technology provider for 26 out of the 46 lotteries in the US. One of the most recent US-facing partnerships for the company was that with the Texas Lottery – a significant milestone given the regulatory drama with lottery couriers that plagued the Lone Star state for more than two years.
Across the pond, Brightstar landed a major deal with Allwyn’s subsidiary SAZKA in the Czech Republic, whilst securing a nine-year contract to operate ItalyLotto alongside Allwyn.
Over in Asia, the firm will begin the rollout of its lottery terminals thanks to an agreement with Pan Malaysian Pools.
