Allwyn-owned lottery provider SAZKA will gain full access to Brightstar Lottery’s instant ticket games suite.

Through the partnership, the Czech Republic-based lottery firm will receive not only a steady supply of Brightstar’s top-performing titles, but also its patented print and design technology.

David Schenk, Chief Marketing Officer at SAZKA, commented: “SAZKA has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with Brightstar, and we look forward to enhancing our instant ticket offerings for our players with Brightstar’s innovative portfolio.

“This new agreement, which comes as SAZKA prepares to rebrand as Allwyn next year, ensures that we can continue delivering best-in-class lottery experiences and fresh opportunities to win – transforming ordinary moments into sparks of possibility for our players.”

Also commenting on the partnership was Marco Tasso, Brightstar’s Chief Operating Officer of International Lottery, who emphasised that the contract is of strategic significance for SAZKA, as it will allow it to further reinforce its position as the biggest Czech lottery.

“Brightstar has a strong foundational knowledge of the Czech market because of our established relationship with SAZKA.

“Brightstar’s player-favorite games and new offerings, such as our patented Infinity Instants, will support increased player engagement and responsible growth for the Czech Republic’s largest and oldest lottery company.”

Besides Europe, Brightstar has also seen recent success in the US, winning a major contract with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation – the new regulator in charge of overseeing the Texas Lottery after a lengthy controversy with lottery couriers saw the lottery supervision taken away from the now dissolved Texas Lottery Commission (TLC).

In light of its H2 trading results, Brightstar CEO Vince Sadusky promised investors $1bn in cash rewards by end-of-year trading.
