iGP came to SBC Summit 2025 with a bold aim in mind – to regenerate the lottery vertical, bringing it into its purple world and modernising it for future generations.
It did so with the launch of iGaming Lottery, a solution that features secondary lottery markets, where players can bet on the outcome of lotteries around the world; custom lotteries, which operators can use to create lotteries that suit their individual player bases; and raffles.
Jovana Popovic Canaki, CEO of iGP, told SBC’s Managing Editor Jessica Welman that launching iGaming Lottery was a ‘super exciting’ time for the company, as it aimed to breathe new life into a classic gaming vertical.
“Lottery is one of if not the oldest gaming product in the world, it dates back to ancient China and it is one of those products that is a fantastic add on as a vertical to any client. Everyone is familiar with the lottery and looking at the online space, it is so underutilised.
“It’s not new, we are not the first ones to do this, but what we bring with iGaming Lottery to our clients is that it is seamlessly integrated with the rest of our products. With our platform, with our turnkey solution, with our crypto solution within the aggregator. So looking at it all together in this iGP purple world, it all fits nicely together, bringing the client flexibility to choose.”
One key aspect of iGaming Lottery is that it is currency agnostic, meaning that it is crypto compatible as well as traditional fiat.
This capability, in Popovic Canaki’s view, is essential for reaching newer, younger players who may not typically be drawn to lottery products.
“I think there is a lot to explore in that space because of the new generation of players coming in the tech moving and it happens so fast. This new generation of players that are coming in today are the TikTok generation. They want things fast and when it comes to things moving fast one of the first things that comes to mind is crypto. So with crypto and the lottery we will be able to cater to the needs of the future generation.”
