US lottery courier service Jackpot.com has partnered with Spanish media company TelevisaUnivision to improve customer accessibility.
WIth the collaboration now in full swing, Hispanic players looking to access official state lottery games through Jackpot.com can do so completely in Spanish.
The courier operator is active across Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, Arkansas, New Jersey, New York and Ohio.
Hispanics and US lotteries
Spanish-speaking customers based in the US can expect to hear more information about the partnership by tuning in to TelevisaUnivision’s local portfolio of broadcast, cable, audio, digital and social platforms.
Data from the US lottery market has shown that Hispanics are an integral part of it, with MRI-Simmons research showcasing that more than 15 million of a total of 65.2 million Hispanics living in the states are buyers of lottery tickets.
Akshay Khanna, CEO and Co-Founder of Jackpot.com, commented: “This partnership with TelevisaUnivision underscores Jackpot.com’s commitment to expanding access to safe and responsible lottery play.
“By integrating our lottery courier services and results across TelevisaUnivision’s extensive media platforms, we can connect with millions of Hispanic consumers in a meaningful way, ensuring they have the most convenient and secure options to engage with their favorite lottery games.”
Building appeal
Through Jackpot.com’s platform, customers can freely order tickets from popular draw games like Powerball and Mega Millions, as well as scratch lottery games, without having to make the trip to a physical retailer.
Most recently, Mega Millions has introduced major changes to the game’s format – live from 8 April – with players able to enjoy improved odds, bigger average jackpots, as well as no break-even prizes.
Khana further explained that the courier expects Mega Millions early ticket purchases to increase in volume as a result of the changes.
“This is the first time the game has been changed since the current game matrix was implemented in 2017, so we expect a great deal of interest when this new format goes into effect following the April 4 drawing,” the CEO added.
