International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has inked a new contract with the Colorado Lottery for the provision of retailer and player solutions.

The deal will span across seven years, up until 12 July, 2032, and includes seven more one-year options to expand on it.

Colorado Lottery will receive IGT’s proprietary Aurora central system to replace its legacy lottery system currently in place. Aurora is part of IGT’s OMNIA integrated lottery solution, which can provide insights through a single player view to enhance marketing opportunities.

Jay Gendron, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Global Lottery, commented: “IGT is thrilled to continue working with the Colorado Lottery and delivering high-performing products that will contribute to growing its business.

“OMNIA, along with the upgrades to retailer equipment and new mobile convenience app, will provide the Lottery with actionable data and tools to manage daily operations and offer players with enhanced retail and mobile experiences.”

IGT will also upgrade all lottery retailer equipment across Colorado and roll out a new mobile app equipped with a Scan and Redeem functionality, which allows Colorado Lottery players to scan their tickets to directly redeem winnings into a linked bank account thanks to an automated clearing house (ACH) transfer.

Tom Seaver, Colorado Lottery Director, added: “We are looking forward to replacing our current equipment with IGT’s most advanced technology, providing more convenient options for players and achieving continued sales growth and funding Colorado’s great outdoors.”

IGT is also the official lottery supplier partner in Mississippi.
