Delaware Lottery launches sportsbook with RSI

The Delaware Lottery has launched mobile sports betting in collaboration with Rush Street Interactive. The BetRivers brand, part of Rush Street Interactive, began operations on Wednesday through the Delaware Lottery following a preliminary trial with the regulatory body.

Delaware’s trio of online casinos – Delaware Park, Bally’s Dover Casino, and Harrington Raceway & Casino – have been updated with new gaming options.

Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI, hailed the introduction of the new online sportsbook and casino as a significant and eagerly awaited event. He emphasized that Delaware’s entry expands RSI’s already successful presence in the Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey.

RSI has secured a five-year contract to manage online gaming for the Delaware Lottery, subject to potential extensions at the regulator’s discretion.

BetRivers provides access to the Delaware Park and Harrington Casino & Raceway platforms, while Bally’s Dover Casino has its exclusive app and website.

Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery, praised RSI’s dedication to responsible gaming, high-quality products, extensive gaming content, and customer service as the main reasons for their excitement about the partnership.
